Q. Can I bring my pet?
A. To date, as well as cats and dogs, we have had snakes and sheep in our studios! Please check in advance with your studio to ensure they can accommodate you and your pet
Q. Can I have my picture taken by myself?
A. We would not recommend it as the Venture experience works best when you are part of a group – we find that people relax more and consequently we achieve better results. Although a lot of the images in our website gallery are of individuals they were all in the studio as part of a larger family group. Please remember that the $50 offer is designed specifically for complete families and is not applicable to individuals. You can of course choose images of individual family members when making your selections at viewing.
Q. Can we come as a couple?
A. Venture definitely does undertake sessions for couples but please remember that the $50 Venture Experience offer is designed specifically for families, so you will need to check with your local studio on availability and for their latest offers.
Q. Do you also do traditional portrait images?
A. Before Venture’s launch, portrait photography was characterised by traditional stiff, lifeless, posed portraits. At Venture, we don't just do portraits. We tell the kind of stories that can transform the character of a home. We capture images full of genuine character and emotion and then hand-craft them into unique pieces of contemporary art that bring the spirit of life to your space like nothing else can. We find that we achieve the best results when people are relaxed and having fun - a very different approach to traditional portrait photography
Q. Do you come to the home?
A.Venture does not visit your home as all our photography sessions are conducted in our nationwide network of state-of-the-art studios. Your Venture experience starts with a consultation between you and a Venture photographer, where we get to know the real you. And you can help us out by bringing props. Anything goes. The more personal and original the better. We’ll talk and give you plenty of tips, and then it’s straight into your state-of-the-art Studio Session.
We find that our clients don’t need their home environment to feel comfortable - your photographer will help you to relax. It’s your creative adventure and it’s a lot of fun!

Q. Do you do my makeup prior to the photography session?
A. Venture is all about capturing your natural character and revealing the real you and as a result we would prefer you to come as yourself. By all means make yourself up – once you’ve booked your Session a member of the studio team will call you to help you prepare for your Session and they will be happy to recommend what will look best so you get the most out of your experience.
Q. Do you do weddings?
A. Venture does not offer Wedding Photography as we conduct all our photography sessions in our nationwide network of state-of-the-art studios. However, Venture offers a great alternative for couples looking to mark the occasion with something completely different from the traditional ‘posed for’ wedding shots in a relaxed atmosphere in which to celebrate the important life step they are taking.
If you really want to capture wedding memories in the Venture style, why not get out your dress and bring it with you to your session! Many of our clients decide to come back after their honeymoon, when the stress of the wedding planning is over, to relive those magical moments and have one of our expert photographers tell the story of your relationship.

Q. How long does it take to get my images?
A. After your Studio Session, we'll arrange your Viewing for a few days later. This is when the whole experience comes to life. It's your first chance to view your amazing images, projected up on the wall, and talk about how they could look in your home. It will take approximately 4-6 weeks from the end of your Viewing Session for your finished portraits to be ready for collection. These timings may vary from studio to studio. Please contact your local studio for further information
Q. How long does Venture keep my images?
A. Venture will usually keep the images from your session for up to one year, so that you can go back at a later stage and purchase further images should you wish.
Q. How many people can I bring to the photography session?
A. The $50 offer is specially designed for complete families - but generally the more members of the family that come along the better. We have examples of sessions where as many as 25 people attended. However if you are in any doubt please contact your local studio for further details. You can use one voucher per family per year regardless of whether there are three people or 30 in your family group.
Q. How much do Venture New Generation Portraits cost?
A.Venture offers a wide range of display options that come in different sizes and formats to give you a striking feature in your home. As a guide, prices typically range from $150 for a 5”x7” image in a gift frame to $4200 for a spectacular Ice 16 display from our Innovations range. There are also options at almost every point in between as well! Many people choose to use our flexible payment plan to spread the cost of their investment.

Q. I don’t live in the United Kingdom. Can I still make a purchase?
A. We deliver Venture Experience Vouchers within the United Kingdom only. You will need to be able to get to a Venture studio to enjoy a Venture photography experience. Currently we have studios in the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland and Hong Kong and the USA. Q. Who owns the copyright on my images?
A. Please remember that Venture retains the copyright to all images taken at your session. If you want to purchase additional products then please contact your local studio.
