rss help guide
What is RSS?
RSS is a file used by news readers and some web browsers to display a summary of featured content from a website. If you subscribe to a RSS feed, you will be able to view a summary of the latest content without visiting the site every time you want to check for updates. This way the latest information is pushed to you as and when it updates.
What does RSS stand for?
There is some discussion as to the meaning of RSS. For some, RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication, where others opt for Rich Site Summary.
How can I view RSS?
RSS can be read by online and offline software. You can opt for a news reader that is a dedicated piece of software that manages your news and RSS feeds. Alternatively you can download and install a web browser that supports RSS. Please see the list below for download options.
