My name’s Caroline, and I’m a 34 year old housewife with three kids and a husband. We had our Venture done because my youngest was about to start school. They asked me if I’d be willing to do a blog after we’d had our session with the photographer. And with all the kids at school now I jumped at the chance of being able to help. Although I must admit I did think I was just helping out my local studio, I had no idea there were so many of them across the country!

 
We’d looked at loads of other photographers studios before Venture, but there was something a bit tacky about them like dodgy back drops or fake on location shoots. It was all a bit cheesy. So we decided on Venture and just loved it!
 
The session was great fun - my youngest Charlie has a tendency to be a bit silly when he’s got a camera in front of him, and my daughter Ella is quite shy but the photographer totally got them all under control and they really enjoyed themselves. Even Michael my husband got into it.
 
We go back in a couple of weeks to see all the images and I can’t wait! Would be great to hear from anyone else whose seen theirs – what’s it like seeing yourself on that big-screen?? I hope I look ok!

Hi – I’m Anita, I’m a GP, I live with my partner and 2 boys aged 10 and 8. I was asked to do this blog when I came across Venture in my local Shopping Centre. I got talking to one of the people on their stand and she asked me if I was interested in becoming a Venture blogger! I wasn’t sure at first, but as I’d been thinking of getting a family photo done for ages I thought I’d give it a go.

 I really wanted some informal shots of all of us before the eldest goes to secondary school and really like the sort of stuff Venture does as they are dead different from anything else I’ve seen.
 
Trouble is I’m having a bit of a problem persuading them all to do it though – has anyone any tips on how to persuade pre-teenage son with attitude and reluctant husband that this would be a cool thing to do?!
